WOULD YOU EAT THIS PHILLY CHEESESTEAK STROMBOLI?
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the Steak & Veggies: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak (3-4 minutes), then set aside. Add onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms (if using) to the skillet, cook until softened (5-7 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, then remove from heat.
Roll Out Dough: Roll the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle (approx. 10×14 inches).
Assemble: Layer the steak down the dough’s center, add veggies on top, then sprinkle with cheese.
Fold & Seal: Fold the sides over the filling and seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Egg Wash: Brush the stromboli with egg wash for a golden finish, and sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve with marinara or cheese sauce.
Every slice is a cheesy, steak-filled bite of heaven! Share if you’d devour this!
