Hydrate Gradually: Make a well at the center and start adding warm water gradually until the dough is soft and pliable.
Knead to Perfection: Transfer the dough to your table, sprinkle some flour, and begin to knead for about 20-25 minutes. Remember, don’t overwork your dough.
Let it Rise: Form a ball with the dough, place it in a bowl, and allow to rise for 40 minutes or until doubled in size.
Shaping and Frying
Shape the Doughnuts: Once doubled, punch down the dough and start forming your balls. Use a scale for equal sizes and place each ball on a separate paper.
Second Rise: Allow these to rise until doubled in size again.
Fry to Golden Perfection: Heat your oil and carefully drop each doughnut into the oil, frying until golden brown.
