Dakota Cowboy Casserole

Ingredients:

2 bags of tater tots
2 lbs ground beef
2 cans cream of chicken soup (any flavor)
2 cans mixed vegetables
1 can corn
1 bag of your favorite cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Season it to your liking with your favorite spices or seasoning blend.
Add Cream of Chicken Soup and Veggies: Once the ground beef is cooked, add the cream of chicken soup and mixed vegetables (including the corn) to the skillet. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for a few minutes to heat through.
Layer the Casserole: In a large baking dish, spread out a layer of tater tots evenly on the bottom. Pour the meat and vegetable mixture over the tater tots, spreading it out into an even layer. Sprinkle a layer of cheese on top.
Repeat Layers: Repeat the layers with another layer of tater tots, followed by the meat mixture, and then cheese. Continue layering until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
Bake: Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 2 to 3 hours, or until the casserole is bubbly and the tater tots are cooked through. You can remove the foil during the last 15 minutes of baking to let the cheese get golden and crispy on top.
Serve: Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Serve hot and enjoy the comforting flavors of this Dakota Cowboy Casserole!
This hearty and budget-friendly casserole is a staple in Dakota households and is sure to become a favorite in yours too. Enjoy the delicious combination of tater tots, savory ground beef, creamy soup, and melted cheese in every bite
