Cheesy Chicken and Potato Bake with Bacon

Dice the bacon and set aside.
Peel and cube the potatoes into small, even pieces for quicker cooking.
Dice the thawed chicken breast into bite-sized cubes.
Grate the cheese and set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.
Step 4: Season the Chicken and Potatoes

In a large bowl, combine the cubed potatoes and chicken. Season with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika. Toss the mixture to ensure even coating.
Step 5: Assemble the Dish

Transfer the seasoned potatoes and chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread the cooked bacon evenly over the top.
Step 6: Bake

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, remove the foil, sprinkle the grated cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Step 7: Serve

Let the bake cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh herbs, such as parsley or chives, if desired.
