Stretch the dough out until it’s about an inch thick. Cut biscuits out of the dough using a round cookie maker or a drinking glass. Then, put the biscuits in the baking dish that has been prepared so that they meet.
Put the cookies in an oven that has already been cooked for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
Brush the tops of the biscuits with more melted butter for an extra rich look once they are out of the oven.
Hints and changes:
If you want a flakier shape, use cold butter and use a pastry cutter to cut it into the dry ingredients before you add the buttermilk.
If you want to make it more spicy, try adding herbs like rosemary or thyme to the dough.
These biscuits go well with honey, jam, or gravy in a delicious way.
Add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the dough to make it sweet, and then sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the baked biscuits.
