Best cake I’ve tasted so far. This recipe is so simple too! Need to make twice as much next time!
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, and ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.
3. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 cup of mayo, and 1 cup of lukewarm water to the dry ingredients. Mix everything together until you have a smooth batter.
4. Pour the batter into the greased casserole dish.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Once baked, let the cake cool in the casserole dish for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
7. Once cool, you can frost or serve the cake as desired. Enjoy your delicious Chocolate Mayo Cake! You can use whatever frosting recipe you want. We’ve included an optional homemade frosting, if that’s preferred:
For the frosting:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1.25 cups sugar
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

To prepare this frosting:
1. In a saucepan, mix together milk, butter, sugar. Bring to boil for 45 seconds.
2. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until smooth and use immediately.
